Victoria Bert has always been drawn to storytelling.
Over the course of her career, she has written, developed, and produced work across film, television, documentaries, reality TV, live programming, and digital platforms.
After a decade in the news business, with experience spanning CBS, MSNBC, WNYW, and 20th Century Fox, she founded her own production company in 2002 with a clear mission: to bring big ideas to life through unforgettable stories across film, television, books, and digital media.
Her work spans broadcast news, documentaries, unscripted and reality programming, branded content, and live television, with credits including Wife Swap, What Not to Wear, Stage Moms, Try My Life, Recipe for Success, Tamron Hall, The Daily Show, and Fox Files, as well as developing projects including Innocence for Sale, Honor Deferred, Uncovered: Lives of Miss USA, and Childhood Obesity: The Danger Zone.
Through her company, she serves as a Creative Director, Chief Content Officer, and Story Strategist, partnering with clients, fellow creative entrepreneurs, directors, writers, producers, and brands to develop strong ideas into stories that connect and have impact. She believes the best storytelling does more than entertain; it makes people feel something real and reminds us why stories matter.
In 2025, she co-founded Killer Shot Films with her partner, John Toba. Their genre-focused production company develops and produces original horror and mystery projects.
She also executive produces podcasts, including her own, The Watchers, co-hosted with Kevin Marable, CEO of TheBlkScript.com, which explores movies, television, and the artists shaping the future of film. Her Substack, Let's Talk About It, is where she writes about TV, film, and culture.
She is a member of the Producers Guild of America, NYWIFT, Women in Media, the Society of Professional Journalists, the National Association of Black Journalists, and the Deadline Club NY, where she also serves on the board.
Her book, The Release List: Tools and Tales for Letting Go, reflects her belief that an idea or story can help create clarity, healing, and forward movement.
